Here you will find some of our own original recipes, general how-to's, and some helpful hints in the areas of grilling, BBQ, and smoking.
First, let's go over some definitions to clear things up.
Grilling is the act of cooking food over a high temperature (300-1000+F) direct heat source for a fast cooking method. Fuels and heat sources used include but are not limited to: propane, natural-gas, charcoal, wood, wood pellets, & electricity.
BBQ (or Barbecue) is the act of cooking an otherwise piece of tough meat over a relatively low heat (180-250F) for long periods of time to breakdown the fibers in the muscle tissue and also usually impart the flavor of some sort of fruit or hard wood.
Smoking can go hand in hand with grilling and BBQ but also goes in a class all by itself. With smoking alone, the temps are low (75-250F) and the purpose is to impart a flavor in the food. All types of food can be smoked and include but are not limited to: seafood, cheeses, deli meats and sausage.

Some we've created in house which you will not find anywhere else and some have been adapted to work in a grilling and BBQ application. Please feel free to try, print, share, and tell your friends about these recipes and methods!
