Q - Do you make grates from Stainless Steel?
A - Yes and No, We no longer carry Stainless Steel grates for direct grilling purposes. With our manufacturing method, the Stainless grates were prone to warping and offered no real benefits. We do however make grates for your smoker or low heat cooking uses. If you are interested in getting a quote, please use the "contact us" form and a company representative will be in contact in most cases within 1 business day.
Q - Will the mild steel grates rust?
A - Yes and No. When cared for properly these grates will last a lifetime or longer. These grates should be cared for as if they were the classic cast iron pan your grandmother used to make breakfast. If she left that pan in the rain or snow, it would have rusted also. If you get a spot or two of rust, no worries! Just brush away the rust and re-season the grate as instructed in the care instructions also available below for download.
Q - How long until my product will arrive?
A - With the exception of the BBQ Rubs, every item Huntingdon County Customs LLC sells is custom made and is fabricated in the order the sale occurs. All orders will be filled in 4-6 weeks and no order will be held any undue time. Most orders will usually ship within 3-4 weeks. Things that could possibly hold up an order include, design changes, special material requests, paint - polish - powder coating, delayed payments. The customer will always be kept informed of any delays.
Q - Is it possible to cancel an order once I place it?
A - Yes & No. Due to the custom nature of our products, We cannot take an order cancellation once our design team begins work. We have hours of design, and fabrication into each of our once of a kind projects. The only exception to this policy is within 24 hours of the order placement. We understand typos happen and mistakes are made but beyond 24 hours, your order is a contract.
Q - What sort of warranty do I get with my purchase?
A - All items from Huntingdon County Customs LLC come with a 1 Year warranty against any manufacturing defects. This warranty begins from the date of purchase and ends on the anniversary of purchase date.
Q - What should you do if you have a problem or concern?
A - First thing is contact us and let us know of the issue. We will gladly fix your issue with a repair or replacement at our discretion. We may request you return the item to us or send us photos of the issue.
Q - What if my item is outside of the 1 year purchase warranty? Can I still get a repair?
A - Yes! We will service and repair anything we sell forever! First, contact us to let us know the issue. We will ask you to ship the item back to us and we will quote the repairs before we proceed. Our aim is to satisfy the customer! In the event that a repair charge has gone unpaid, an item is not picked up, or shipping has not been arranged for more than 90 days after the repairs are complete, the item becomes property of HCC.
ATTENTION: Every item once ordered, will be hand made. We do not keep items on hand to immediately ship. We will make every effort to ensure your item leaves our shop in a timely manner. If you have questions, give us a call and we would be happy to help you.
